Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. Coronavirus is a virus that causes Flu-like symptoms, in certain people it can be deadly and spreads very easily. This is currently considered a very dangerous virus that is spreading across the world.

How Can I Tell If I Am Infected

Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms such as runny nose, cough, fevers, and sore throat. However, 2 out of 10 people  who get infected develop very severe life-threatening symptoms that can even cause death. 

Who Is Mostly Prone To COVID-19?

Older people over 60 and people  living with underlying medical conditions. Going by the current cases worldwide, children are more immune to Coronavirus.

How Does It Spread?

The virus that causes COVID-19 is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or exhales. These droplets are too heavy to hang in the air, and quickly fall on floors or surfaces.
You can be infected by breathing in the virus if you are within close proximity of someone who has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated surface and then your eyes, nose or mouth. If you contract the virus you develop the symptoms within 2 to 14 days.

How Can I Protect Myself & Others?

Wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds. Do not Touch your face before washing hands. Cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Stay away from people who are sick.
